Acorn Community Care (Charity no. 1095207) Our charity provides sheltered employment, work skills, training opportunities and life skills for adults with a learning disability. We are based on a smallholding where we offer experience in working with rare breed poultry, develop gardening skills on our allotment and sell our home grown produce. acorncommunitycare@ukonline.co.uk
Next Steps (Charity no. 1090367) We support people with mental health problems. Our members run a community cafe in Norton, which is open to all. RYECAT (Charity no. 1109232) trading as RYEDALE COMMUNITY TRANSPORT Our organisation is a community transport charity based in Malton and operating throughout Ryedale. Ryedale Carers Support (Charity no. 1076716) We are a voluntary organisation providing practical help for adults and older people living in Ryedale. We do this through a sitting service and support groups for carers, a visiting service for older people living alone and a returning home from hospital service. enquiries@ryedalecarers.org.uk
Sight Support Ryedale (Charity no. 1089633) Our group provides support and information for people who are blind and partially sighted. We run regular meetings, in both Malton and Pickering, for members throughout Ryedale. Ryedale Special Families (Charity no. 1069586) We are a user centered group, supporting the families and carers of children and young people with disabilities and special needs. Ryedale Voluntary Action (Charity no. 1061069) RVA supports charitable and voluntary groups. We offer free advice on funding, finances and how to get started and develop.
